AmeriCorps VIP
HandsOn Central California is currently recruiting for 25 AmeriCorps members in all five counties in the California Central Valley.
Member Duties : AmeriCorps Volunteer Infrastructure Project (VIP) provides the opportunity for AmeriCorps members to work with community organizations to build their capacity to support children, youth and families struggling economically. AmeriCorps members are under the general supervision and report to the Site Supervisor at their Placement Sites. AmeriCorps members will increase the number of volunteers providing needed services to children, youth and families struggling economically in the community. Additionally, AmeriCorps members will build capacity within the volunteer program of the organization to provide high quality support to volunteers in order to provide them the skills and resources they need to be successful and sustain their volunteer activities.

$4,750 Education award upon successful completion of service , Health Coverage , $14,000 Living Allowance , Training .
